A bubble themed party is a very fun party theme and is great for children who enjoy running around and playing outdoors. Bubble parties can be fun for boys and girls alike. Below are some tips we have compiled that will help you throw a fun and successful bubble party!
You can find party decorations that have bubble graphics on them for paper plates, party hats, banners, invitations, balloons, and practically any other decoration you are considering. A bubble machine is a must for any bubble party, you may even want to have two or three if there is going to be a large group of kids.
You can provide some store bought bubble wands for the kids to play with, or even set up an arts and crafts station for the kids to build their own bubble wands out of pipe cleaners and straws. If you don’t have the kind of bubble wands that come with their own bubble serum, be sure that you have enough serum for everyone as well. You can play simple party games using bubbles. This includes bubble blowing contests for who can blow the most bubbles, or the biggest bubble. You can also have some kids chase the bubbles and see who can pop the most.
You can also hire entertainment that would work well with the bubble party theme, check around for a local balloon twister, puppeteer or magician. They may even be able to incorporate your theme directly into their activities.
In the spirit of bubbles, you may want to include some bubbly drinks like apple cider or ginger ale. Grapes are a good food for a bubble party due to their round shape, small size and abundance (just like bubbles!). Instead of regular cake consider serving cupcakes with a bubble design on the frosting, or cake pops with frosting on the outside and regular cake on the inside.
If you are giving out goodie bags, be sure to include some bubble related paraphernalia such as bubble tumblers (be sure to get the no-spill kind), bubble squeeze toys, or little trumpets that shoot bubbles. If you are including bottles of bubble serum, you can even personalize them and write the intended guests name on each one.
